NERVE TUMOUR UK in memory of LINDSAY BRYAN

£2,725 of £3,000 goal

Raised by 74 people in 1 month
Created May 13, 2019
The Blaenau Gwent Otters are supporting NERVE TUMOURS UK in memory of Lindsay Bryan who has been a long standing member of our club since joining at the age of 11 years.  Unfortunately on the 6th of May 2019 at a very young age of 38 years Lindsay lost her battle to cancer, and  we have lost a dear friend and a Swimming Champion.
Lindsay left behind her little man/son Frazier who also suffers with the same condition, Neurofibromatosis. Little Frazier is now a member of the Otters and at the age of 6years is already following in the footsteps of his mother, and one day will also be a Swimming Champion.

Please consider making a donation to Nerve Tumours UK
(formally Neuro Foundation) who do pioneering research into Neurofibromatosis, and hopefully one day with your support they might find a cure for people just like Frazier.

Today was the day that all those who knew Lindsay Bryan paid their last respects to a wonderful wife, a caring mother the best daughter in the world, a loving sister, the bestest friend, a caring person etc,etc etc. Siloh Church, Tredegar was full to the rafters, Llewyncoed Crematorium full and no standing room available. Back at Bedwellty House, main hall full, cafeteria area full. Hundreds of family and friends turned out to say their good byes and return home with memories of a very special person. Our Linz is a true CHAMPION and will missed by everyone who knew her, RIP Linz. Xx

How it Works
  1. You are donating to PayPal Giving Fund UK, a registered charity (No. 1110538), which will email you a receipt for your donation and claim Gift Aid where eligible.
  2. GoFundMe’s platform is free. The charity will typically receive the funds from PayPal Giving Fund within 15-45 days of your donation if the charity has enrolled (or 90 days if the charity has not yet enrolled). Unlike other platforms, 100% of any Gift Aid will go to the charity as well.
* In very limited cases, a recommended charity may cease to meet PayPal Giving Fund's legal or other eligibility requirements. In such cases, PayPal Giving Fund will reassign the funds to a similar charity, and (wherever possible) seek a new recommendation from donors.
