AbhinavNepal - Crowdsourced Database for Science and Innovation in/for Nepal
Scientific research these days is becoming more and more collaborative and highly multidisciplinary. Doing high quality research in Nepal is very challenging and as a result there are very few world class researchers working in Nepal. However, there is a large number of high quality Nepalese scholars and scientists working around the world. Moreover, many of the scientists are keen to contribute in higher education and research in Nepal. AbhinavNepal is a growing crowdsourced database of Nepali scholars that can be used by anyone to search for scholars working in their fields of interest. This will facilitate researchers to find potential collaborators or supervisors and also networking with other scientists.
This is just a start and we hope to build a lot more exciting features in the near future. Along with scholars, we are also considering to collect and add list of research institutes that are doing quality research (based on publication track record) presently in Nepal, potential disruptive innovation companies and introducing a graphical visualization of these data.
AbhinavNepal is strictly non-commercial and will always remain non-commercial. Hence we need your help (small financial donation for covering operating costs or open source code contribution) to keep this going in a sustainable way without any advertisements and commercial interests.
