Nemasket River Productions is a community-based, 501(c)(3) non-profit theater company based in Middleboro, MA. Our mission statement is to encourage excellence in the performing arts in three ways - by educating and nurturing theater awareness; by strengthening the relationship between the community and the theater; and by providing an organized platform from which actors can develop, produce, and perform their work. Our ambitious 2018 season includes Arthur Miller's "All My Sons," Shakespeare's "Romeo and Juliet," held outdoors at historic grounds in Middleboro, and the thriller, "Dracula". From classic masterpieces to current screenplays, we strive to bring our audiences quality performances each and every time.
As previously mentioned, we are a non-profit organization. Our fundraising comes from our generous donors and sponsors, as well as tickets sales and a small number of arts grants that are available to groups like ours.
Well, this year, our grant requests proved difficult to obtain. Who knows why – current political climate, changes in arts and cultural funding, or a number of unknown factors. Whatever the reason, NRP has been financially hurt by these decisions. Without this crucial funding, we are in financial jeopardy – and we need your help!
Please help this "little theater that could" with a small (or large) donation. Every dollar is 100% tax deductible, so feel free to share this and spread the word! Every little bit will help us continue our mission to provide quality theater to our community.
