Neighbourly Love

Today my lovely neighbours John & Suz were broken into. The criminals smashed their back door, ransacked their house leaving a trail of destruction and left with a sentimental ring and small amount of other jewellery.

Understandably they are both upset, feel violated and on top of this now have to clean up their house and fork out cash for the replacement of the broken door.

The door cost is $800 which Suz tearfully told me they had to access their savings for their bi-yearly holiday to visit her family for Christmas.  I know this holiday is something they look forward to and save for every second year so $800 is a large blow to the kitty and setback for these hard working grandparents.

I'm hoping to raise enough, or near enough, to cover their door cost and help put some cash back in their Christmas kitty. I would hate to see them miss time with their family because of some low-lives who have put them through this.

Let's help them ease the financial stress so they can concentrate on looking after their emotional stress and restore their faith in the community and neighbourhood.
