Life Saving Insulin Pump

Hello. My name is Lee Ann.  As some  of you know I have been  a brittle Type 1 Diabetic since 1993. I have been strugglibg with this disease for 25 years now. I am now using a LOANER pump since the one I was on for the last 8 years has malfunctioned and can not be replaced since it's no longer under warranty. I get to use this LOANER for 85 more  days but then I have to ship it back to Medtronic. I am hoping this GOFUNDME account will help me. I ask that you all find it in your hearts to help me share this page and donate what you can so I can afford to get another pump. Please understand the "insulin pump" is my LIFE LINE. My doctor put me on the pump back in October 2010 after being on the injections for 17 years prior. Due to my brittle condition, the insulin pump is the closest method at this time that actually works with my body to help me stay alive. I don't have insurance to help me purchase one like I did back in the day. I've looked everywhere for possible programs to assist. There are none. I am NOT married so I can't be put on a "husband's" insurance policy. I do NOT have family support what so ever to help, so I can't take that route. I've been on the disability waiting list for 3 years now because of the condition my body is in. I am patiently waiting my turn to be accepted so I can have the health insurance I desperately NEED to continue to live! Its taking forever. For many who know, the system doesnt care. I will be OK for the next 85 days. But what happens after that? I barely made it thru those 3 days on insulin injections while waiting for the temporary pump to arrive (I had blood sugar levels of 212, 380, 475 and 554) without having the pump connected to my body. I depend on it so much. I desperately need help. This is more serious than I even want to admit ...
