Funeral costs for Shad Green

Donation protected
Today, on 4/8 my father Shad Green passed away sometime in the night at 48 years old. My father is from Texas, my whole family lives in Texas. We would like to have his a viewing and a funeral in his hometown around his family and friends before cremation. Currently we are in Pueblo, Colorado and my mom and I don't have really any resources to transport him. He didn't have any life insurance or social security so he isn't getting any death benefits. Anything helps and our entire family appreciates every single penny raised, we need help RIGHT NOW.

My dad has always worked hard in life to give my siblings and I everything I've ever wanted or needed, he was always going above and beyond for us. I couldn't have asked for a better father, I've learned so much from him. He was the kindest man I've ever met, and the strongest man I've ever met at the same time. He would go out of his way to help complete strangers, even at a cost to himself. He was the first to offer help every single time when seeing a car broken down or someone needing help. He had the biggest heart of anyone. My father was also a very stubborn man, one of the most hard headed at times. He was an extremely strong leader during tough times for my family. He was an old school joker, one thing I've always admired was his ability to compile and remember tens if not hundreds of different jokes, most of which you can not tell to your mother. He gave me so much more than what he had as a kid and I'll always be thankful my dad was such a hard worker, He was our hero really. His smile was so infectious he could just light up the whole room (when you could see through the epic mustache). He inspired my passion to learn guitar and I remember the day I got better than him! I have many fond memories of singing "You Are My Sunshine" with him while he played the chords. He was born in Texas, our entire family has lived and died in Texas, we need to get him back home. He leaves behind four children and six grandchildren, who will all miss him dearly.

This is URGENT, we only have a few days to raise what we can to get him embalmed and transported. We are raising this money to be able to have a viewing and a funeral with our family in Texas, afterward his body will be cremated and spread on the graves of his family per his wishes. Thank you everyone and tell the people you love, that you love them. I was lucky enough to do so. Thank you.
