Need To Save or Pull Tooth

Hi all. My name is John Roberson. I'm an indie cartoonist (you can see and support my work at patreon.com/jlroberson) who presently works a temp day job, and has no health or dental insurance.

I am suffering massive, sudden and violent pain in a top molar on the left side, and soon I will have no choice but to go to a dentist. But I lack the money to cope with this sudden, necessary expense.

This is now the only molar on my left side; this tooth's front neighbor had to be pulled a couple of years ago (with your help, and thank you), the one behind it went years ago; and I am trying not to wait too long this time, and possibly save that tooth. I would rather not lose every single top tooth on my left side.

And this pain is horrible, and getting worse every hour, shooting right up my jaw into my head and into my eye. I have a high tolerance for pain, but it can obviously only go so far. It's already difficult to eat. 

I need the money to defray all dental expenses plus what time I will lose from work, as I get no paid sick days. This could include drilling and filling, if the tooth can be saved.  I'm hoping it will not involve root canal.

I ask for your help, because soon the pain will be so bad I will have no choice. I thank you all for caring.

UPDATE:

By Friday it became unbearable and the dentist was kind enough to see me on short notice; kind especially as it was his day off, but he was nice about it. There was a terrible infection in there, but what's left is being medicated away. The tooth could not be saved, and a bit had to be done to shore up some others, and I lost a day of work at a temp job where paid sick days are an unknown thing. So now I need to defray costs.

Though this means I have no molars left on my left side now(which effectively means no left molars, if the bottom ones have nothing to mash against), I'm thankful that at least it's not anywhere visible yet, and I still have my right molars. Hopefully dental insurance will enter my life and I will be able to pursue regular care as I'd rather, else none of this would have ever happened.
