Need money to file as 501(c)(3)!

Refugees Welcome! is a nonprofit organization developed by a Board of Executives to assist migration organizations in the Greater Boston area.  Refugees Welcome!'s mission is to assist local refugee organizations to network and advocate for the expansion of refugee services. 

To assist local refugee organizations, Refugees Welcome! focuses on four thematic program areas; advocacy, the refugees welcome network, education, and Fresh Start Awards. 

We are currently run exclusively by volunteers.

As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, Refugees Welcome! will expand access to refugee services. Our network will assist service providers with determining programmatic gaps, chances for collaboration, and joint fundraising opportunities.

We are organized and motivated, but we need to crowdsource $700 to file with the IRS for official 501(c)(3) status. This is critical for our capacity building needs and expansion potential. We need this status to apply for grants.
