Daisy Trader
Donation protected
Imagine coming to college with nothing. No bedding. No toiletries. No school supplies. Only yourself, and a dream to do something bigger altogether. This is a struggle that was brought to our attention in the UNCG Guarantee program when an incoming freshman told us they had nothing and needed our help. This is how the Daisy Trader was created.
The Daisy Trader is a donation closet that will have college necessities on hand for UNCG students that have a high need for them. We want to provide assistance to students who are 100% of poverty and/or first generation college students, while also destroying the stigma that it is bad or wrong to ask for help. Everyone will need help at some point in their life, and that is okay.
On average, it will cost each student about $500 to get all of the necessities at the beginning of their college career. Our current goal is to raise $15,000 by July 31st, 2016. This will help fund 30 students with all new items, in the event there are no donations on hand. This could provide students with any and all of the following:
Bedding (Sheets, blankets, comforters, pillow cases)
Pillows (new)
Towels
Toiletries
Clothing
Outter Wear
If you do not wish to donate money, but have lightly used items that you would like to donate, please email us at:

Thank you for your support! It truly makes all the difference for those in need!
