Hi, we are part of the NCS programme. Our group is operating in louth. The aim of our project is to raise awareness of social prescribing in Louth for the elderly. Please donate anything possible as it is much appreciated.
Social Prescribing is providing a solution without using a medicine. Therefore this helps people to cope with their lives without resorting to medicines.
Our aim as part of our project is to help social prescribing for the elderly, it is proven that with a greater social life when you are elderly you live longer.
The percentage of doctors appointments made by the elderly are just because they need someone to talk to or they feel lonely, therefore with the help of social prescribing both the elderly and the sick are helped as their is more availability for those who genuinely need to see a doctor.
