Lise and Charlotte met in a liveaboard marina in Victoria, BC. Lise is originally from Newfoundland, Canada and Charlotte from Normandie, France.
Both passionate about sewing, they decided to start a sewing business together at the Westbay Marina, in Victoria British Columbia. The new business will be named Nautical Stitchery. It will serve the boating community of Southern Vancouver Island and will offer such services as Canvas repair, custom canvas design and custom upholstery repair and design.
They need to raise a little bit of money to get started. They need a long arm industrial sewing machine ($4,000), some furniture: tables and shelves for fabric ($400), a small stock of fabric ($2,000) and 3 first month rentals ($1200), for a total of $7,600.
All the donation of :
- $25 to $100 will have 10% off for the first order;
- $101 to $250, 12% off;
- $251+, 15% off.
Anything will be a big help for us.
