My name is Joshua Ward and I am an emerging artist who attends Extraordinary Bodies Young Artists (EBYA) a professionally led performance training company. I have been given an amazing opportunity to become a member of the National Youth Theatre. The National Youth Theatre is a world-leading youth arts organisation .
With over 6,000 people auditioning each year for a place on their courses, I'm so happy to be one of 500 to be chosen. Unfortunately each course is £1,000 and this covers a month's worth of training in the summer.
Previous attendants of this course include: Dame Helen Mirren, Daniel Craig, Daniel Day Lewis, Colin Firth, Idris Elba, Kate Winslet, Matt Lucas and even Ed Sheeran!Out of thousands of applicants nationally, I was chosen to join 29 others on the Senior Course in London this August. Due to being the upper age limit of 25, this chance will not happen again. I need to fundraise £1,470 towards the cost of the course and accommodation by 21st June. I will be doing a Sponsored Walk at the end of the month for those not on social media. Your support will be greatly appreciated. Any donation, no matter how big or small, would mean the world to me.
