If everyone who signed the petition donated £1, we could reach our goal in no time and help so many more people in Natasha and Aidan situation!
If anyone knows of any great charities who help people facing deportation or families who could be separated, please leave a comment!

As I'm sure most of you have heard, Natasha's solicitor who was handling the case decided to practice some very unscrupulous tactics to try and blackmail her into paying well above the standard for an immigration case at 4:45pm the day before her court hearing on 29th November 2017. Upon discovering they weren't the only ones this had happened to and the incredible amount of factual innacuracies and spelling errors, they decided to go to the court themselves and plead their case.

The final hearing has been postponed until January/February 2018, however Aidan and Natasha were told by a judge that they will need a new solicitor ASAP and enough money to cover fee for the Indefinite Leave To Remain visa that they will have to apply for.

From 6 April 2017, the application fee was raised to £2,297 (£2,848 premium) per person plus any additional NHS surcharge fees (it's a new charge and boy is it fun!) will come to around £4,000. The solicitor fees for our previous case (which they were told they would still have to pay despite extreme dishonesty on the solicitors part) and a new solicitor to take on the case will be about £6,000. GoFundMe takes a percentage of the donations so it is not known what the final figure raised will be.

Aidan met Natasha in 2011 when he moved to London. The next year they married, and have built a life together. But two years ago, Natasha who is originally from Canada, had her spousal visa renewal refused. We campaigned and managed to stop immediate deportation but now she could be forced to leave.

Please sign this petition to help keep them together in the UK.

"Aidan is my friend who I met 12 years ago in the music community, so when I heard that they were being threatened with being torn apart I started this petition. We need to keep up the pressure until Natasha gets the right to stay." - Cinnamon Francis-Burnett

Natasha cares for Aidan daily due to a serious illness that he is fighting. He is diagnosed with nerve damage caused by a prolapsed disc (L5-S1) and degeneration of his spine. He’s suffered from minor pain up to full blown partial paralysis of one side; Natasha has stood by his side providing him with financial support and a lot of loving care to help him get back to good health.

His poor health has prevented him from working full-time, though when possible he’ll do an the occasional gig. He also has Asperger’s Syndrome which is exacerbated by the attempt to deport Natasha.

The Home Office do not deem Aidan's illness as severe, despite notes from doctors and hospitals proving otherwise. And despite their income being over £25k a year (well over the £18.5k threshold), it is not deemed as acceptable – because some came from Natasha’s self-employed roles and Natasha's family during a difficult time.

We petition Amber Rudd and the Home Office to reverse their decision to deport Natasha. Natasha and Aidan are inseparable, completely reliant on one another, and deeply in love. This decision is destroying them, and Aidan's health is already being severely affected by it.

The Home Office should not be able to separate legitimate, loving couples who have never turned to the state for financial help.

Hello everyone!
I’ll try to keep it brief since Cinnamon did an update on the petition but since we are so close to reaching our goal I figured I would let you all know where we stand now.

We had our big meeting at the deportation centre in Heathrow on 4th June and I have managed to stave off deportation (for now) thanks to the help of our wonderful solicitor that was recommended by Samantha D. For security purposes we aren’t releasing the name but we are in the process of getting my documents from my previous solicitors, if you can call them that.

We are working on getting my Slovak citizenship through my father which seems like the best bet but the current obstacle is trying to get my Canadian passport (that was taken by the home office Nov 2014) so I can give it to the Slovak Embassy. We are also exploring any and all alternative routes in case everything goes tits up with our current plan.

I can’t begin to even describe the fear Aidan and I felt of the morning of 4th June going into that horrible immigration building and the sheer amount of stress mounting up to that moment was like someone was constantly strangling me and punching me. We came out with new hope because of all of you and your donations.

We are only £2640 away from our goal now so please share the fundraiser with your friends and family and let’s get that goal!

Xoxo Natasha (& Aidan)

We have our fundraising gig tonight at the Underworld in Camden tonight! Tickets are by donation and doors open at 6! We hope this is the first of many (sadly) so we can raise money for my legal fees and others who are in similar situations.

The Facebook event is below, if you have any questions feel free to send a message our GoFundMe page.

Thank you to everyone who donated and shared the fundraiser and petition. You've pulled us out of one of the darkest moments of our life with your love and tomorrow we will sort this mess out! No more scamming vulture solicitors (ahem...Sabz Solicitors you are worse than Theresa May for praying on vulnerable innocent people for profit) and to figure out what the hell happened with our court date that was supposed to happen in January.

We love you all. Thank you.

Natasha ( & Aidan even though he's still sleeping/exhausted from all this)

I'm copying this from the change.org petition because I am exhausted, broken and quite frankly losing hope. We have done amazingly but it still isn't enough to cover the home office's mistakes and all the legal fees.

"I have just received word from Natasha and Aidan that today things went wrong!

As per usual Natasha went to sign on at her immigration bail but this time she was kept in for longer and interviewed. Upon leaving the Home Office centre they have contacted me with an urgent update;

- The court didn't rebook their case which was adjourned earlier this year due to the failures of the legal teams--- they dismissed it! --- this means that the Home Office are pushing for Natasha to be removed in 2 weeks.

The 2 week time frame comes from how long it will take them to book an NHS carer to care for Aidan...

This is a plea, a very very urgent plea - do we have any legal representatives that are willing and able to step up and help Natasha and Aidan? "
