Fire Fund for Karen Soukeroff

An amazing woman that so many of us know and love in Castlegar, BC suffered a devasting fire in her home on Sunday night.  Karen Soukeroff along with her two daughters escaped the fire without injury with the clothes on their backs.  Karen is a single parent of two incredible girls.  She works tirelessly 10+ hours a day 6 days a week at her salon Aeon Studio to provide a home for her daughters.  Her youngest daughter has special needs. To help with her mobility in the home the Lions Club of Castlegar has helped her tremendously. 
Due to the extensive smoke damage in the house they will not be able to return to their home for at least 3 months.  Karen will have immediate bills needing to replace clothing for the three of them and she will have the added stress of reducing her work load while she deals with insurance. 
I am setting up this fund to help reduce immediate financial stress on her.
Any funds not used will be donated to the Lions Club of Castlegar. 
Karen is all about giving back and helping others.  Its our turn to help her.  Any donation no matter how small is greatly appreciated.
