With the FISU World University Games just around the corner, it's about time that I officially announce that I've been selected to represent Canada for the first ever time in my soccer career (!!!!)
Almost 18 years into my soccer career, I've finally accomplished something greater than winning a Lac St Louis AA title!! But in all seriousness, this is a huge honour and I owe it to all my teammates and coaches over the years for believing in me and pushing me to be better every day.
Unfortunately at this time, the national team is not funded by Sport Canada. Costs of attending this competition include accommodation in athlete villages, flights, a training camp in Portugal and tournament participation fees. With a short time-frame to raise funds, my journey will rely on the generosity of friends and family to help make this dream come true. Every little bit helps.
A huge thank you in advance to everyone who is helping me make my childhood dream of representing my country become a reality.
