My mother Naomi T Kaye, has dedicated her 63 years of life to helping others. She has taught over 24,000 Voice Lessons to date over the past 29 years. She has given thousands of people the ability to push through the barriers stopping them from pursuing and achieving their dreams. In 2006 my mom and I went into business together and have been partners in our company, Voicercise now for 11 years. I have filled in, in taking over the company starting in March 2016 while my mom recovers.

“We love to help people find the beauty in what they create in an artistic way. Ours are more then just voice lessons, it’s an inspiration for you to be and to do what you really are and who you really are. And I would like to continue to do that for a very long time.” - Naomi T Kaye

To all of our amazing students, we are so happy to continue her intention to help you through all this. It really really touches my mom's heart that her purpose of helping you can carry on. It keeps her strong and couragous to know she will make it through, to come back to helpingyou make your dreams come true.

She wants you to know, she is behind you and with you during every lesson I teach, and every song you sing. Your continued support means so very much to us.

My mom has always held helping others as a huge importance in her life. Anyone who has ever met her could relate.

Our mom's love for others exudes her. She is vivacious, ever nurturing and very well might be the most inspirational and encouraging person on this earth.

She's the type of really caring and committed person, that would never take no for an answer until your dreams are accomplished, no matter who you are, if you need her she is there.

For those of you whom do not know, my mother Naomi T Kaye, was diagnosed with breast cancer in September of 2015.

After a long and difficult journey,  she is currently battling stage 4 breast cancer and needs help to be able to recieve the continued care and treatments that are saving her life.

The Full Story

In Winter of of 2014 we discovered a little tiny lump on my mom’s right breast. We didn’t believe it was breast cancer, nor did tests at that point prove it to be so.. However, we were watching it closely as my mom had had a long history of having little lumps appear and disappear which tested to be nothing.

That following June, she married the love of her life Fred Cohen in a small family wedding in their home after 11 years of being together.

In September 2015 the tumor started to grow and show positive for cancer, as well as her long time issue of high blood pressure began to worsen. As she had always had a very sentitive body, and a removed galbladder since age 20, my mom's liver had been weaked for years due to needing to pull double duty.
Regular cancer treatemnts we felt where out of the question, as the liver is used to process all toxins in the body. And hers was already weakened. The liver levels in her blood, where 3 times the normal and showed like she was an accesive drinker.

My mom has eaten 100% organic food including no wheat no dairy, and low sugar for 30 years. Many of it which she grew in her garden. She obviously is not a dri ker or smoker of any kind.

She has helped others to plant and grow organic food as well.

She has been named "The Family Dr" for many years, as she has always known and researched the natuaral solution for every thing, which many people have come to her for successful answers, from her students, to frineds to family.

That is when she went to go see Dr Minkoff at lifeworks wellness center. Fred and my mom spent $11,000 worth of treatments at Lifeworks Wellness Center on a daily bases over the coarse of several months. Following those treatments, she had regained her energy, her breast tumor was at bey and she was doing better then ever.

I gave birth to my third and final child of three, Olivia and returned to work full time.

We took home an intense regime of alliterative treatments for her cancer under order of Dr. Minkoff and his staff, which we followed exactly daily. Including a very strict and specific diet, over 50 supplements taken orally per day, near inferred sauna and daily coffee enema, to detox the expelled cancer cells. My mom was relentlessly determined to do everything possible to cure herself of cancer, read every book and researched every treatment out there. One of them being the Hope4Cancer Clinic in Mexico. Knowing that this was our ultimate answer, we started efforts to get her there.

The treatments they use are two extremely effective medically developed drugs, that have been used as regular cancer treatments for 50 years in Latvia and different parts of the world that are much healthier in general than America, and do not ruin the immune system, a patient needs to beat the disease.  they are called PnC 27 and Rigvir. The 3 week stay at their medical center and treatments costed over $47,000.

We tried many different ways to come up with the money we ultimately knew would save my mom’s life:

1. Selling the extra lot we owed next to our property, which we found out couldn’t be sold because of the way their house was build over the two lot’s of land.

2. Refinancing my parents house, which fell through a few times, due to my parents credit taking too many hits with all the medical bills piling up and a house we had invested in years prior being lost to the bank, during this difficult time.

In my mom's true amazing spirit she stayed calm, ever joyous and loving, yet diligent. She continued to help people find the beauty in what they create in an artistic way every day. She continued to provide more then just voice lessons, but an inspiration for the people she touched to do what they really wanted to do in their hearts and have the courage to be who they really are.

She would like to continue to serve our purpose for a very long time.

In Feb of 2016 I got a call that, my mom was in a hit and run car accident. After seeking chiropractic care immediately after, she was doing okay, just some slight discomfort.

Over the next 4 weeks she very gradually began experiencing more and more severe back pain. She started having a lot of difficulty working. We were having to cancel and reschedule many lessons. Of course our wonderful students where more then understanding. But our business and way of support was failing.

One morning the pain was just too much for her bare. We took her to the ER and they told us her pain was due to 2 back fractures. Although the fractures were terrible news, we feared the real reason for the pain was due to a possible spread of cancer into her bones, due to the trama of the accident… the Dr’s at the ER explained that the fractures would heal within 2-3 weeks on strict bed rest.

At this time and since March of this year, after training underneath her for the past 11 years, we made the group decision for me to take over our business running our business and fill in teaching lessons ( a position I had already been in process of training for, only it was initially to add myself as a second coach) and hire a few very talented people to take over the positions I was covering prior to her sickness, until she was able to return to work.

The fractures didn’t get better. Her pain had gotten much much worse. We found a new MD that took our insurance. The new Dr, spoke to us about a procedure called Kyphoplastya, a minimally invasive surgical procedure used for treating fractures which aren’t able to heal on their own.

To qualify her for the procedure, she was to get an MRI of the area to see if she would meet the procedure qualifications. In March of 2016 an MRI showed cancer in her back on T4 and T5. In addition the cancer had spread (metastasized) to her pubic bones, liver and lymphatic system.

The next few months were a world wind and a true test of our families love for our common goal: Get mom better. This was the point where her health really started deteriorating. It all happened very quickly. By the middle of April she was no longer able to walk, and was completely bed ridden. The pain medications she was so reluctant to take any of just a month prior, was the only way she was able to get through the day, hour by hour.

All 4 of my mom's children, our spouses and her husband used all our abilities, professional and otherwise to get mom mentally, spiritually and physically through.

We tried many more different ways as a family to come up with the 47K it would cost to send her. Finally in April of 2016 my Step Dad Fred, decided to make at untimate sacrifice and take 47,000 out of the 401K. Money he had been putting away his entire life, for their retirement. He felt his retirement would be nothing without his wife to spend it with.

The 12 rounds of radiation she was prescribed due to the intense amount of increasing back pain she was experiencing, although helped with shrinking the tumors and pain due to them for a little while, also completely burned the intestinal lining of her stomach. We were told this would heal, but would take time. She was left not able to hold food down without a very specific regime of medications which bypass the dysfunctional stomach. She dealt with this in full effect for the next 3 months.

She still has difficulty holding down food, and digesting it. She was left with having to be on 3 different medications and enemas daily to eat without vomiting and to regularly eliminate her food. 4 months later, it is very slowly but surely healing with very strict medication scheduling, including specific diet, enemas and so on.

Since  other treatments could not be done during the time of radiation, by the time she was given chemotherapy as an option her body was not strong enough to withstand it. And her liver difficulties had gotten worse. Our oncologist told us, she probably would not make it through the treatment, nor would it work to cure the cancer. "But we could give it a try."

We had reached the point where we were able to send her to Hope 4 Cancer. My brother Austin took off 2 weeks of work to help her get to the Clinic and help her in the clinic to get all of her treatments , after those weeks were up Fred (my step dad) took his vacation days to finish up the treatment. The clinic was absolutely amazing, when she got there was was barely able to walk, bowels and digestive system were at a full stop and everything looked pretty grim, but Hope 4 Cancer was there for us and with their 8 therapies daily they were able to reduce her cancer by 50%, return her bowel functions to some regularity, and she was able to walk, sit and go to the rest room by herself. But unfortunately $47,000 only gets you 3 weeks of treatment at the clinic, and she was sent back home with three months worth of the two most important cancer treatments: PnC 27 and RIGVIR.

After an arduous flight back home. She returned back to her Families care, but we had two huge road blocks, none of us were medically equipped to take care of her full time. We all had full-time jobs that we need to continue to support my mom’s life, (Many with children and full households to support as well), and the american doctors wouldn’t fulfill or prescribe any of the medications that were keeping my mom’s bowels moving, or any of the other medications necessary for her to stay alive while she finished the cancer treatments that were saving her. So after a week her health immediately started to diminish again, she yet again lost her abilty to walk.

One of the reasons we need this money is to cover home health aids so that our amazing mother can get the IV’s and the adequate medical care she needs. We need help. We’re just unequipped and under qualified to provide the medical care she needs, during such an important time.

The two treatments she responded to so well in Mexico are called Rigvir and PNC 27. They worked to remove 50% of the blood flow feeding the cancer that was growing in her body. She needs to be able to continue these treatments under strict medical care, until the cancer is gone.

Right now, we only have enough of her treatments for one more month, which is not enough. Her Dr.s from the clinic are telling us she needs to remain on it for a year. She also, needs to go back for a following up and reassessment in 6 months, from treatemt. Help Us to get our mom fully recovered our mom, and back to changing and improving the lives of so many.
