Naomi Singh, mother of three daughters: Nayoki, Nariya here in this realm, and Kilaya in the world of spirits. Naomi is known for her delicious catering business: OMJA foods. She's also known for being healthy, energetic, genorous and charismatic.
Sadly though, on Saturday August 31, Naomi was rushed to Lady Minto hospital, because of an unusual collapse. The reason was critically low blood sugar. She was released a few hours later when her blood sugar returned to normal so she could attent her daughters final performance of Beauty and the Beast.
Monday morning, on September 2 she collapsed again. This time the medical team had to perform an intraosseous infusion, drilling directly in to her leg bone to get an IV in. This is how Naomi became conscious.
With limited resources at Lady Minto, she was sent off to Victoria General Hospital. Naomi has fibroadenoma (benign breast tumour) which grow in size from 2 cm to 9 cm after her third pregnancy. After recent attemps to dissolve the tumour using alternative medicine, it decreased by 2 cm. However, the recent changes also had her breasts releasing an excessive amount of insulin which have led to her current life-threatening low blood sugar. Now, she is awaiting surgery to remove a tumour which has turned toxic.
Although Naomi believes everything happens for a reason, the reality is that her medical condition has caused thousands of dollars of lost work. Without her market stand and catering jobs, she is unable to keep up with bills.
