NAMI Orange County Education Programs

Want to join us in making a difference? We're raising money for the Orange County, North Carolina affiliate of the National Alliance On Mental Illness ("NAMI"), and any donation will make an impact.

NAMI Orange offers several NAMI Signature programs, including Family-to-Family, Peer-to-Peer, and NAMI Basics. These programs are partially funded by local mental health providers, but additional funding is needed so that we can offer these programs more often and reduce reliance on mental health providers for funding.

All programs are offered free of charge to participants and are taught by intensely-trained unpaid volunteers. So most of our expenses are for printing participant manuals, which typically cost $25 each.

Class size varies, of course, but the maximum allowed is 25 participants, so manuals for a full class will cost $625. Any and all donations of any amount are greatly appreciated, of course.
