On Saturday October 7, 2017, a two-year veteran of the ATF Pittsburgh Group 1 and a US Army combat veteran who served in Operation Iraqi Freedom was involved in a serious accident in Altoona, PA.

He suffered a traumatic brain injury as well as other serious physical injuries and was flown by Life Flight twice, once from the crash scene to Altoona hospital and then again to Alleghany County General Hospital (AGH) in Pittsburgh.  AGH neurosurgeons took aggressive measures to stabilize broken bones and reduce his fever.   The neurosurgeons are closely monitoring his intracranial pressure every hour.   At this time, his intracranial pressure is stable and his temperature is being maintained by a cooling blanket.  The medical staff anticipate keeping him intubated for another week.  AGH  trauma doctors stated he may have a long road to recovery but they remain hopeful for a full recovery.

The page is dedicated to the Namey Family in response to the overwhelming support being offered to the Namey Family on behalf of his friends and colleagues in the ATF family.  All contributions will be sent directly to the Namey Family.
