Help Me go to Hillsong College

In January of 2016 I embarked on an adventure.  I began a 4 semester long leadership study course called Hillsong Evening College offered at City of Grace Church that a month later after I had started attending became the 19th global Hillsong Campus location; Hillsong Phoenix. During this Leadership Studies course I have spent many hours both in class and hands on experience learning how to deepen my relationship with the Lord and learning how to serve others. During all of this time the Lord has continually revealed His love and promises over my life and my deep desire to continue my education more intently at Hillsong College located in Sydney, Australia.

The first time I felt the call was in the fall of 2014.  After I had originally applied it was soon after, that my dads health started to falter. It was then in the middle of all of it, that I decided to stay home and say no to going to bible college. To me it was the right choice because four months later my dad passed away. It was there after months of grieving and a lot of life changes that the Lord started to line up things in such an incredible way. I moved to Phoenix,Az and started to get settled there.

It was 9 months after I had moved that I found  myself at City Of Grace church that was a part of the hillsong family. Immediately I had felt it was the right place for me because it was what I was looking for; I became aware of their leadership studies offered there called Hillsong Ministry School at the time. It was after I had started the courses that God made it evident to   me that  it was where I was supposed to be. The classes and their requirements have challenged me not only with my time in study but applying it in numerous real life experiences; volunteering at all the campuses located across the valley. It was in those moments that the dream of being in ministry full time was reawaken for me.

 I am embarking on going to Bible College in Sydney, Australia at Hillsong International School of  Leadership to study the Advance Diploma of  Ministry program  to become a Pastor.  The goal is to go in January 2018.My vision is to learn how to further equip God’s people to fulfill their full potential to make kingdom history in this generation.

This to me is not a rash decision and is one that I have prayfully meditated on for some time now. As I have reflected , watching the LORD line things up in time  for  me to do this now. I know I need others support to make this vision a reality and do my part to step into this faithfully.
