We are so happy you have made your way here today and we cannot wait to share with you our mission and hope that you are as excited as we are to embark on this new journey.  Our goal is to provide our tees to homeless who need them and ask them to model for our products.  We have already started passing them out and seeing the incredible benefits.


Hello, my name is Alireza and I am here to tell you about Models without Homes launching this campaign called “Models without Homes: Helping the Homeless.”    We developed Models without Homes in order to put an end to the tragic cycle of homelessness amongst everyone in the US.  We think it will help the homeless find better outlets and escapes than a life on the street.

Why do we have the homeless model the clothes?

Well the answer is simple, modeling the clothes does two things. It enhances their self-confidence because they are finally being looked at in a positive even adoring manner oppose to the grimes looks they are used to getting. And secondly the modeling encourages interaction, we can all drop off clothes at the Goodwill we never know who receives the clothes, we aren’t making sustainable change, and are we aren’t breaking barriers. We believe Models without Homes is a great way to build up the broken and help them see the beauty they have had all along.


How did this all start??

Good Question…

I was recently having a conversation with a good friend of mine who was homeless. He told me the worst feeling is having people who look at you like you, like you are a criminal or a bad person.  Right at this moment, Models without Homes was born.
 
I instantly gave homeless people in Los Angeles our t-shirts to model and we instantly starting seeing the benefits.

With big dreams and a small budget, often times a collaborative effort is necessary.  An environment where everyone pulls together is necessary.  Here at Models without Homes we are on a serious mission to get people into nice fresh shirts that will keep them feeling good and optimistic.  That is why we are reaching out today to ask for help in this collaboration.  If you ask anyone what there safest, happiest, most wholesome place, most will say: their home.  Yet In the U.S., more than 3.5 million people experience homelessness each year. 35% of the homeless population is families with children and youth, which is the fastest growing segment of the homeless population.   And the vets and minority homeless are growing as well. We need to give them something to feel better about themselves.

If we don’t help these people, who will? What if it was your friend or family member on the street?

How many more homeless people have to die every day before we recognize this trend? (Currently over 30 homeless die daily, in the US, from abuse, disease and suicide)

What can we do to make a sustainable change in the future of the homeless youth?

Why start in Los Angeles?

Los Angeles city and county have the most chronically homeless people in the country, and nearly all of them sleep on the streets, according to figures released by the U.S. Housing and Urban Development Department.

L.A.'s chronically homeless population has grown 55%, to 12,536, since 2013, accounting for almost 15% of all people in that category, HUD reported. More than one-third of the nation's chronically homeless live in California, the agency added.

About Us

Naab Design is passionate with creating an unmatched solution that’s effective and realistic for youth battling homelessness so they can have a life, a family and a career to look forward to when they are ready. We will run the organization based on our mission statement of helping people to heal their lives from the destruction of the streets one t-shirt at a time.


We believe that as long as a homeless person is alive to tell their story, there is hope for healing and that is what we are here to give. We act with the certainty that our every contact with a person on the streets may be the last, best chance at finding shelter, and that every crisis is an opportunity to change lives. The time is now.

Risks and Challenges

We have taken the time to get nearly everything in place before launching this campaign. We took the risk up front by delaying the launch of this campaign until we believed it was ready, to lessen the risk to our backers. We have a great team in place so we don't predict many obstacles here.  But there is always the unknown.  But we will face every obstacle with the same tenacity and perseverance that we have from the start.
