NAAAP-DFW 2017 Scholarship Fund

Mission
For the last four years, NAAAP-DFW has given scholarships to deserving high school seniors in the DFW area. Every year we have strived to give one more scholarship than the previous year. 

Our goal has not changed, we want to make a difference in one more scholar's life in 2017 and we need your help to make it happen. Each scholarship is worth $1,000 and is paid to the school of the student's choice in order to assist them with the pursuit of higher education. 

Who receives this scholarship?
Students apply for the NAAAP-DFW scholarship every Spring and applications are reviewed by an impartial committee with no ties to the students. The applications are reviewed on the basis of:

1. Academic Achievement
2. Leadership Skills
3. Community Activites and Involvement
4. Scholarstic Activities and Involvement
5. Work or Other Activities
6. Financial Need

Why should you donate?
The students who earn this scholarship have gone above and beyond in their efforts to make a difference in their families and their own lives.  Are you concerned about the current state of student debt, rising income disparity, or the over-burdened social welfare programs? Your donation has a direct impact on the students lives, AND extends to all of the issues above,
