Hi everyone,
Our family is starting a GoFundMe campaign for Ron Raynard of Stoughton, SK, as he has recently been diagnosed with terminal cancer of the liver. As many already know Ron has been sick for several months but we have just been told that it is terminal with a six month prognosis. During the last several months with doctoring, travelling and without the ability to work, we are asking everyone who can donate to help cover these costs, as well as on-going costs, future travelling time and medications and overall health maintenance, as Ron's long term partner Louise Hislop has also had to slow her work and miss work to be with her spouse and will continue to have to do so to ensure Ron's health is taken the best of care possible during this very emotional and heart-breaking time.
Since this has already been on-going struggle for several months any and all funding as soon as possible is necessary to maintain a quality of life for Ron and his spouse Louise. These funds will help things like day-to-day living costs, medication, travelling for doctors, missed wages and extra care Ron will require in coming time, and we cannot stress the urgency of your donations.
Ron has always been a community oriented person, he coached minor hockey for years with many athletes excelling, he was involved in things like the golf course, recreation board, he was a volunteer fireman for 19 years, which seen him develop into the Deputy and Fire Chief for 10 years. Ron was also an instrumental founder in the Saskatchewan Snowmoblie Association and creating the SGI approved snowmoblie course for youth riders and advocated and spent numerous time organizing the Moose Mountain Snowmoblie Club.
