Ethan A Schmidt Family Fund

On September 14, 2015, Ethan Schmidt was shot and killed at Delta State University in a senseless act of violence.  He was an assistant professor of U. S. History. He and his wife are from Kansas but were a welcomed part of the Cleveland Family! He was a father, husband, family member, friend, colleague, and educator. He and his wife have dedicated their lives to educating students while raising their beautiful children. He was loved by many but left this life way too early.   We are raising money to ease the present financial burden and the future education of their children. We want to show the world that light can shine in the darkest of hours.

The people behind this campaign are colleagues,  friends,  and family who know  and love the Schmidt family. I set this campaign up on behalf of Mrs. Schmidt's colleagues/friends in Cleveland. I, Kristin N. Johnson, have had the honor and pleasure to work with this wonderful teacher and mother at her school.  The funds go directly to Mrs. Schmidt to help her with financial costs of this tragedy but also help fund their children's education.
