Keep Shan Working: An Autism Support Services Dog

Hi everyone!

I had a great 1st year, 2014/15, working as an Special Educational Assistant.  I learned a lot <3, met & supported great kids, and networked with coworkers.

However, I found that doing my job, as an On Call EA can be overtaxing for me as an Autistic: the ever changing schools, classes, and client students; the lack of a dependable routine has taken a toll on me.

I need support, daily, mobile support:  An Autism Support Services Dog.  There are no resources or funding available for an adult who was dx'd in adulthood.

A down-payment for a Service Dog is: $2,000.00

Total cost for a fully trained & certified Service Dog:
$16,000.00

Not only will an Autism Dog help support me on the job, but it will also help support the students I work with.
