Myra's Medical Fund

Myra's health battle begins in October 2016 when she moved into an apartment in Los Angeles that had toxic chemicals and black mold. Within a few hours Myra was sick and within a few days she was completely immobilized. After promptly moving out and few urgent care visits,  Myra realized she needed to stay with family in Georgia in order to rest and fully recover.

After about a month of trying to cleanse and restore, the Cargo's realized they needed to seek out more specialized doctor's attention. Myra went to see Dr. Rhett Bergeron at the end of November and started treating for the chemical toxins and mold exposure right away. By Christmas Myra was feeling significantly better and by early January we thought she was on the road to recovery. Then a few setbacks (parasites, infections, etc) prompted Myra to return to the doctor seeking further investigation. The mold had done some serious damage to her organs, yet we felt that there were other things at play inhibiting full recovery. Since then the tests and scans have revealed high levels of heavy metal toxins and a severely compromised endocrine system. Myra is still in the process of treating the mold, parasites, and heavy metals while supporting her organs and immune system under Dr. Bergeron's excellent care.


We fully believe that God is using this to "make all things new" and bring restoration to Myra's life and an even deeper and fuller way than we expected. Please pray that the Cargo family will continue to cling to the hope of the gospel in the midst of the unknown.
