Myla's Malawi Expedition

Hi I'm Myla. I'm 13 and currently in Year 9. Next year I have an incredible opportunity to go to Malawi to help build huts for people to live in and also help in hospitals - and even send some kids to school! I've always wanted to travel to help in some way and I feel like this is an amazing opportunity to put some smiles on faces and make a real difference!
Since 2003 students and staff at my school (St. Peter's School Exeter) have raised over £150,000 to support the work of St. Andrew's Hospital and other community projects. In 2018 we built 7 school classrooms, teacher accommodation, installed solar panels and a bore hole in just 7 days!!!
I need to raise £2,500 by Easter 2020 to pay for flights, food and accommodation and I will be doing anything I can to raise it including throwing ticketed dinner parties for my parents' friends and family and a sponsored row to Malawi on the rowing machine - a row for every mile from home to Malawi!
If you would like to, please donate so I can have the opportunity to help people less fortunate than myself and bring some happiness to the streets of Mtuntama . That's my main goal, I really want to make the world a better place.
