ASHI Jr Ball Hockey 2016

Hockey Fans,

As some of you are aware I have been involved with youth ball hockey for almost 20 years. Three years ago I was asked to run the Jr Division of Team USA Ball Hockey for the American Street Hockey Institute (ASHI).

ASHI is a registered 501c(3) non-profit organization dedicated to the growth and governance of the sport of street/ball/dek hockey in the United States. ASHI the official governing body of street, ball, and dek hockey in the United States as recognized by the International Street and Ball Hockey Federation. We manage the USA National Ball Hockey program which has four divisions: Men, Women, Junior, and Masters. Each division has teams that compete in ISBHF World Championship events every two years.

In 2014, our Jr teams (U20 and U18) traveled to Slovakia and competed against the top youth ball hockey players in the world, and we won (2) Bronze medals. This July we will be traveling to Sheffield UK to compete in the 2016 World Jr Ball Hockey Championships. The tournament is run by the ISBHF (International Street & Ball Hockey Federation). We have three teams competing in the event this year (U20, U18, U16). All of our coaching staff, executive staff and trainers are volunteers and the costs for this trip and running a youth hockey division, as you may guess, are extremely high.

We are looking for some sponsors, either individuals with a passion for hockey or companies that are able to assist us in our quest for Gold.
