My Sister, Pam's Medical Bills

Donation protected
On March 5, 2018, my sister Pam, had a seizure while at home trying to recover from what she thought at the time was a bad case of the flu. The paramedics were called to her home in Woodland, WA. Upon their arrival, it was determined that the situation was urgent, and Life Flight was called in to take Pam to PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center in Vancouver, WA. Upon arrival to the hospital, Pam was placed in a medical coma. She was in the ICU, unresponsive, breathing from a ventilator, hooked up to a dozen different meds. The next day she was transported to Sunnyside Kaiser in Clackamas, OR. She was in a medically-induced coma for three days while several tests, MRIs, Spinal Tap, etc. were administered. After all the test results came back, it was determined she had what is called Hashimoto's Encephalitis.

A week later, on March 12th, Pam was moved to the Fort Vancouver Post Acute Center in Vancouver, WA. She needs assistance getting out of her bed and is currently using a walker to get to the bathroom. Her speech is still a little slow, but is improving. Pam will remain in the rehabilitation center for at least another week before she will be released and allowed to go home.

Pam's medical bills are stacking up and her health insurance only covers 80%. Any amount of donation will be greatly appreciated.
