Her Story,
My mother has taken care of me her entire life.. She is a hard worker, and has unknowingly had lung cancer thinking it was namonia for a long time, She worked through it dispite the sickness at a Labour job called Pacesetter Personell only making about 60$ for a 9 hour shift. they paid daily, Recently she got very sick, and agreed to let me to take her to the hospital dispite the costs ( she doesn't have health care ). The doctors found a Large Mass in her right lung... It''s disheartenging to say, She still hasn't been able to get Medicaid or gold card.. Because technically we're homeless. ( Staying with my brother for a few weeks right now, but he refuses to let us use his address for the GoldCard application )
Homeless people can't get goldcard ??? It's rediculous. The doctors gave her medicine called Fluoroquinolone, it's an antibiotic and it is currently damaging her tendons. ( it's a side effect ) literally tearing her muscles from her bones.. So now She is in constant pain, and cannot work. She needs GoldCard to see the doctors so she can qualify for dissability benifits, but sadly cannot get it...
It's a sad system when the government taxes her out of her checks for healthcare, yet cannot provide healthcare for her when she needs it.. My mother doesn't deserve any of this.. Nobody does,

There is no way I could come up with that money alone, and my mother definately doesn't deserve to spend her last days homeless and sick.
