My kidney donation.

Hey everyone! I'm here today asking for your help. A little backstory.....
My cousin's Husband (and one of my best friends) needs a kidney transplant. My cousin, Amy, had asked anyone willing to get tested to go and do so. A few trips to Barnes and some days taken off work later, I found out I'm a match! Problem is, Missouri doesn't offer anything to help with lost wages. I will be out of work for 6-8 weeks. Surgery will be scheduled in March, I will post an update when I know the exact day. They will be taking my right kidney, which means that it's not the traditional cut in the abdomen. They will be going in from the flank region and removing a piece of my rib to gain access to the kidney. My family means more to me than anything and I feel so blessed that I'm a match and that I can give life to someone that means a lot to me. But the only way to do that is to make sure that my family isn't struggling with the aftermath of unpaid bills because I will be out of work.
