My name is Abbie Morrison, I am 17 years old and I have recently been offered a place of Scotland’s senior jazz team!
I have been part of the North West Allstars dance & cheer team here on the island since I was eight and really found a passion for dancing, I now coach younger dancers myself which I love doing aswell as seeing them grow in confidence in themselves and their ability! I want to thank my coach & friend of 9 years Kirstie for teaching me everything I know and giving me countless opportunities to get to where I am today, without you none of this would even be possible.❤️
The opportunity to be on the Scotland team really has been a dream come true for me and I never thought it could’ve become a reality, coming from the Isle of Lewis opportunities like this a few and far between and I would love to take this chance to do our island proud and represent it and our country on the Worlds stage in Orlando, Florida in April.
Words can’t describe how excited I am to start my worlds journey as part of Team Scotland along side the rest of all the amazing dancers & coaches on the team, being a part of the team involves me traveling back and forth from Glasgow every second weekend for training and as you can imagine this is very expensive before even considering the expenses of getting to Worlds in Florida! but I am fully committed to making every single practice so this is why I’m asking for your help.
