My Elder Brother's Knee Surgery

Donation protected
On July 31st of this year, well-known Torah teacher and Hebrew Nation Radio host Mark Call took a nasty fall on a wet ramp on his small off-the-grid ranch in southern Colorado.  His right leg slipped forward, while the left leg slipped slightly in the opposite direction, and he went down directly on top of the left ankle.

In the process, the tendons that attach the knee to the quadraceps muscle were all torn off, meaning that he will need surgery to walk again, followed by a period of intensive rehabilitation.

When all is said and done, the surgery will result in an out-of-pocket, and devastating, expense of at least $5000 which will need be paid within 30 days of the Tuesday, August 8 surgery in order to avoid extra charges.  Rehab costs are as yet unknown, but will be paid as they accrue, probably weekly.

In the interim, there are a lot of chores, projects, and ranch maintenance that either won't get done as planned, or will require assistance.
