My Dad's Medical Recovery

(Para español lean hace abajo)

I'm writing this as Wendy Zermeno the daughter of Ricardo Zermeno, the person I'm raising money for. I'm not good with words and I'm not good at a lot of things but one thing I'm good at (I Hope) is loving my dad.

On Dec. 7th 2016 we took my dad to the ER thinking it was going to be and in and out visit regarding a blister on his foot but it all came to a bitter ending reality for him and our family as the person we considered unbreakable had to get admitted to the hospital for the first time with diabetes complications that resulted with him getting his left leg amputated, it was a real difficult situtation and reality we all had to face but specially him who never picture himself where he was and is it went from an infection to multiple trips to the operating room.

I am thankful for the doctors that tried their best to save his foot but at the end it was either amputation or his life.

His operation was succesful but now comes the hard part of him adjusting to his new life, as do we. It is going to take time and effort and because of this I decided to try this and ask for a bit of help.

If you know him or my mom, both my parents they have never been the type to ask for anything for free they are hardworking people but sometimes unfortunate events and circumstances like these hit you right when you least expect them.

Any bit of help during this tough and difficult time would be highly appreaciated and useful for his everyday living expenses such as rent, bills and medical visits while he begins his journey to recovery.

I'm doing this without both their knowledge because I know for a fact they would straight up say "Absulutely Not" and trust me if I or my siblings could give him and my mom eveything and more we would in a heartbeat, but like I said unfortunate circumstances prevent that.

This would mean so much to me and my family we will forever be thankful for your act of kindness and generosity. My father is a man of pride and dignity with good morals and a hardworking mindset that loves his wife, kids and specially his grandkids.

So as his daughter I'm asking for him and I will be forever grateful!

Thank You & God Bless

Gracias.
