My dad gave his all. Help him

My papa is the kindest person I know. He has been through hell and back with his wife of 20 years, who has been battling terminal cancer, and he has never once complained or thought about leaving her side through all the ins and outs over the past 5+ years.
He's been there for his children in every aspect possible, giving money and time when he couldn't afford to... And now he faces the fight of his life from an unexpected and silent killer. He is going under the knife in less than two weeks to open a port for dialysis for his failing kidneys, which has effectively ended his career as an artist and Mason. He has had to resort to searching for roommates to pay his mortgage in a time when he should be allowed to be resting in peace. I can't bear to see my father suffering at his age, especially considering the fact that he is a veteran and amazing human being. Please help in any way that you can so that he can go into this life fight with less worry. I know the world is suffering in general, but this man deserves more than he has been allotted.
