YUWA School Trip

Donation protected
Our film 'Married To The Game' has been nominated for Best Documentary at this years Royal Television Society Awards. It is based on the story of a school in Jharkhand India that uses football to keep girls out of child marriage and in education.
We would love to have one of the girls from the school and the film attend the awards ceremony here in the UK with us on the 20th November. Our film sponsor (PayCare) have kindly offered to sponsor the students ticket to the awards but we still need to cover flights, travel and Visa costs.
Having one of the girls from the YUWA academy travel to the UK to experience her schools work being acknowledged and praised would mean the world to us.
During her stay we have already arranged for her to have a trip to Parliament with our Local MP Mr Ian Austin and she has been invited by Football For Peace to attend their program in London supported by the royal family.
Jharkhand India is one of the most dangerous places in the world to be born a girl and these girls are thriving thanks to the support of the YUWA Academy. They are changing the culture of what it means to be born female in India. We would be grateful for anything you can give to help make this trip a once in a lifetime opportunity for both our team at Foundation DB and the YUWA Academy.
