Sadly, we have lost another close and dear friend too early. Kyle Cleavenger, our fun-loving friend suddenly and tragically died on Saturday afternoon, May 27, 2017 at the river while celebrating another typical Memorial Day weekend.
Kyle and Andrea and their 2 children just finished dinner, and as they departed the restaurant, he unexpectedly was stricken with a fatal heart attack. Aggressive efforts to revive him were unsuccessful.
We all know Kyle was one of the happiest people anyone could ever know. He was always laughing and joking with everyone. Everyone that came into contact with him instantly enjoyed his presence. He was always ready to crack a joke or sting someone with his piercing wit. Kyle was a one-in-a-million kind of person.
Thankfully, Kyle has left us all with fond memories. But tragically, he also left behind his family to grieve and somehow go forward. He and his loving wife Andrea were “buddies”, always together. Andrea and their 2 children, Brittnee and Shayne, are faced with this terrible loss and must somehow live on. Kyle was a wonderful husband, father, son, brother and friend. Kyle, Andrea, Brittnee and Shayne were a close foursome, who now must somehow find the strength and wisdom to go on without Kyle.
How can we help? What can we do in this terrible time in the loss of the “leader-of-the-pack”?
We can all share in taking food, drinks, love and support. But Kyle’s family will be faced with many hard decisions, both immediate and long term. It’s almost unbearable to make such decisions while suffering this loss. There will be immediate financial demands on Andrea, Brittnee and Shayne. Financial demands have already started. We can help.
I am asking for your direct financial help in this Go Fund me account set up for Andrea. I am sure Andrea values the love and support we give her, but let’s add to that love and support through a Go Fund Me campaign to help Kyle’s family. It will take some pressure off Andrea. Look at it as buying Kyle dinner, or a drink or a beer. Please help Kyle’s family with a contribution.
