Mountain View HS Wrestling

Hello! Thank you for considering donating to Mountain View High School's Wrestling team gofundme.

Why do we have a gofundme account?  Every year our funding gets smaller and smaller. Unfortunately our costs rise or stay the same.  Instead of sending the kids out to ask for donations we thought we would try this.

Why does a High School Wrestling Team need money?  We need to raise money for singlets, travel expenses, mat tape, new mats, transportation, tournament entry fees, coaching tools, and in some cases district fees.

Doesn't the District or School pay for these?  The wrestling team is given a small budget from the school based on activity cards sold.  We stretch that as far as it will go and are good stewards of the money given but it doesn't even come close to covering the basics for a season.

Please consider donating what you can to help out our student athletes. Wrestling is often a thankless sport without much attention given to the athletes.  The young men and women we coach and all us coaches thank you in advance.
