Museum of Richmond 30th Anniversary

The Museum of Richmond was first opened 30 years ago this October and tells the story of Richmond's fascinating history.

As a local social history Museum we aim to be a core part of the community we serve offering free entry to all visitors and running an active events, families and schools programme. We also work with local charities and community groups to create regularly changing exhibitions.

The new exhibition will celebrate the Museum's 30th Anniversary. We are working with 30 people who have been involved with the Museum over the last 30 years to explore their favourite parts of the collection and our history. These people include local community groups and societies, volunteers and some of our Patrons.

As a charity we work hard to raise money in order to produce high quality and interesting exhibitions for our visitors to enjoy. Your support will mean that the 30th exhibition is no exception.

Your donation will contribute toward the production of graphic wall paper to create a really beautiful exhibition which flows through the space. Your contribution will also help us to produce marketing for the exhibition so that we can  share our story with as many visitors as possible.

We are running this campaign for the next 30 days, one day for every year since the Museum opened. The exhibition will be on display from late October 2018 until March 2019.

Please celebrate with us and donate today. We hope to welcome you to the Museum very soon.
