Mum’s Lipodemia Treatment

It is very important that mum doesn’t know about this as I’m hoping to give her the money as a surprise for her birthday. For those of you who don’t know, my mother suffers from a disease called lipodema. It causes a great amount of pain which makes things as simple as walking difficult. There is no actual cure for it, but there are things that can help such as liposuction. We’ve tried to get this on the NHS but have had trouble with it so now she has resorted to having to travel to Germany and pay around £4000 (if I remember correctly) which is obviously a difficult ask. I’m hoping to get £100. It may not be a lot, but it’s something and if we go over then that’s great! Anyone who does donate, message me and I’ll put your name in her birthday card so she’ll know who it was that helped her!
