Emma Sander along with her 2 children(Payton 3 y/o and Mar-leigh 18 months)lives at a rental property at Mt Larcom QLD.
On the 28th November 2018 was told to evacuate the house
at 17 King George street Mt Larcom due to bush fires coming towards them.
When Emma returned to the property on the 29th, luckily for them the house was still there but all the sheds were burnt out losing everything in them(childrens toys, cloths, childrens quads, tools, ride on mower, emmas car she was working towards getting on the road was in the shed,some personal items and sentimental items was in there also. A friends car was burnt out as well. Everything in there fridge and freezer was defrosted and is unsure if any of the food is ok.
She can not let her children back to the property and they are staying with family, as the sheds are too unstable at this stage! She can return to the house without the children until further notice, they still may have to leave the property, just waiting on more assessments to be made.They also may need help in moving.
I am the Grand mother of Payton and Mar-leigh Downs.
Any donations will be going towards replacing some of the stuff they have lost and the cost of moving if they have to go. If they are going to take too long she will have to find suitable housing so she can have her children home with her.
They need help getting back onto there feet.
