Multiple Strokes

Donation protected
Aloysius Fru Atanga is a husband and father of 3 beautiful children - Kardney, Daniel and Nathaniel.

On January 6, 2019 he was admitted in UT Health Tyler hospital with inability to walk. He is currently in Neurological ICU undergoing urgent medical care. Aloy's doctors have informed his family that he suffered multiple strokes scattered throughout his brain which is causing severe weakness, very unsteady gait and swallowing difficulties that may require  feeding tube placement. Aloys had a surgery today 01/11/2019 to have a feeding tube placed in his stomach in order to supplement his nutrition as he continues to have difficulty swallowing.

After extensive testing, Aloys has been diagnosed with antiphospholipid syndrome which has been the underlying reason for the multiple strokes he has sustained. A blood thinning agent has been added to his medication regimen.

At this time, the doctors are not sure how long it would take for Aloys to make a full recovery. Nevertheless he will need extensive therapy at the Stroke Rehabilitation Hospital after discharge (whenever that is). Aloys family has been advised that he cannot return to work until he has completed rehabilitation and his medical doctor has declared that he is medically stable.

The journey ahead is long and hard. His entire family is asking for your fervent prayers in this trying times and financial support.  His wife Elizabeth Atanga is his primary care taker. With your support , this journey would be less arduous.

We thank you immensely for your prayers and generosity.
