Tennis Returns would like your generous financial support to help  raise $1,600.00  to fund summer courses for Amadi Kagoma.  Amadi is a sophomore tennis and academic standout from Burundi, East Africa. He has a 3.2 GPA, is captain of the men's tennis team, and is ranked #4 among junior college players in Southern California. He and his doubles teammate Nathan Eshmade are state  doubles champions.
Amadi Kagoma, one of nine siblings,  is hoping to use tennis to get a college education so he can help his family and community in Burundi.
Amadi Kagoma is an inspiration to his teammates and peers; he was selected Cerritos Junior College Athlete of the Year.
Thank you for your thoughtful  financial contribution!

Hi everyone! This will be one of my last posts because I am almost at my deadline. I am so close my goal and just a few more donations would bring the fund to $1,600! Thank you all for being so supportive and a big thank you to anyone who donated!

Happy Monday everyone! Here is another statement from him if you'd like to further understand how important education is to him.
My mum is called Nyakamwe Beatrice and my dad is called Kagoma Jumaine. My mum who's 47 and my dad who's 58 are both jobless. You might think that, these 2 parents are lazy but they are not. They wake up each morning and walk for miles into different villages looking for any form of work, mostly cleaning etc.. The fact that they can't spell their names, unable to differentiate places, currency, numbers or letters has made it more harder for them to find any type of job! I often hear my parents saying, " If we were educated, we wouldn't be this poor! We would be working in different organizations and traveling in different countries doing business. We would be involved in your decision making and sending you letters from us or use internet to communicate but sadly we can't do any of that now since we don't understand your education language."
"90% of my peers dropped out of school due to lack of tuition or home problems, that includes my 4 older siblings. Most of them are running away from Burundi to other countries to seek for cheap labor. The same 90% of my peers already have 1 or more kids without any form of income. "
