Assalaamu alaykum,
Alhamdulillah fron Allah's bounty and favor, our noble brother and teacher Abu Awzaa'ee Abdus-Salaam has been accepted to Ummul Quraa University in Makkah.
Only by Allah's success and aid that He has allowed Abu Awzaa'ee to start/have:
-Trying to Follow the Salaf (a website dedicated to translating the speech of the scholars)
- Keys to Knowledge (an institution focused on teaching Arabic language to the youth of New York City)
-Various classes, khutbahs, and events benefitting the youth across NYC
Our teacher is now going to study abroad under the scholars of islaam, and we want to help him just as he has helped us!
We were informed that having an apartment in Makkah costs about $5,000 a year. We want to help raise enough for an apartment for him and his family for 4 years (the amount of time to attain at least a bachelors).
This will help our teacher to focus on his studies and not worry about his family having a place to stay.
As a community, we must invest in our students today in order to maximize benefit from them tomorrow. Alhamdulillah, and this is our chance to help from the beginning.
By Allah's bounty, He has aided the brother in establishing many dawah efforts before traveling, and if we aid him in seeking knowledge abroad now then there's no telling what Allah will open for him to accomplish after he returns.
So help to us reach this goal, and if you can't donate anything then we simply ask for your supplications.

-"Allah is in aid of the servant so long as the servant is in the aid of his brother" [Hadith collected by Muslim]
-"...and whatsoever you spend of anything (in Allah's Cause), He will replace it. And He is the Best of providers." [Surah Saba: 39]
