Bayside Community Hall is celebrating 75 years as the hub at the heart of Bayside with a program of investments in our historic community center. Plans include a new roof, major kitchen renovation, and many upgrades to both the interior and exterior to keep the hall open and active for the community to enjoy for another 75 years!
This campaign is just one part of our larger capital campaign to raise a minimum of $60,000. Check out our website for the many events coming up this fall -- including dances, concerts, talks and breakfasts -- attend any one of them and you are helping to raise funds towards our goal.
Bayside Community Hall is a non-profit volunteer organization. We are a venue for all kinds of social and cultural gatherings, education, health and fitness, youth leadership development, entertainment and activities that support community organizations and causes. Our mission is to foster social and community life for residents of Bayside and Humboldt County.

Our Community
We welcome individuals from all of Humboldt County. Our members are of all ages and backgrounds, and come to the hall for many reasons: to promote education, health & fitness, small family farming, historic preservation, emergency preparedness, and other community-building activities.
Our Events & Activities
We sponsor quarterly swing dances and community breakfasts. We host Zumba classes, a painters groups and a music group called Bandemondium. We host an annual holiday Makers Fair and an Electric Vehicle Show. We are always looking for new groups and activities that engage our community.
Our Historic Building
Constructed in 1940 by the Bayside Grange (a fraternal organization supporting family farmers), our hall maintains its original grange features and is on the California Register of historic buildings.
Our Affordable Events Venue
With affordable hourly and daily rates, discounts for non-profit and youth events, the best dance floor in the county, a stage and a huge kitchen and meeting area, the Bayside Community Hall hosts everything from weddings to dances, school plays to fundraisers. Renting our Hall for events fosters local community life and raises vital funds to maintain our building.
