Hillsong College Fees

Hello, friends!  

As many of you already know, I am living in Sydney, Australia and studying Worship Music and Ministry at Hillsong International Leadership College.   Sensing that God was calling me on a grand adventure, I flew out here last July, and the journey has been nothing short of life-changing.  

In my time here in Australia, I have had many highs and lows, ups and downs, mountains and valleys, but through it all God has been faithful.  I have been challenged both in the college/church setting and in my day-to-day living to trust God with everything I have and seek His face every moment of my life.  I came here primarily because I am a worship musician, and I wanted to grow in my gifting in this area and embrace the opportunities that Hillsong offered.  However, since being here, God has showed me that He called me here for so much more--to grow as a man of God, a leader, a faithful servant in His house, and one who above all loves others as Christ does.  Through the courses I have taken, the services I have sat in, the countless incredible relationships I have formed, and the many ways in which I have been able to serve the Church since being here, I have grown in my love for others, my faith, my confidence as a man of God, and my overall desire to build God's Kingdom.  Furthermore, I firmly believe that in 2015, God is going to release me into new opportunities to lead and minister as He continues to grow and stretch my capacity.

I am writing this to update you on what God has been doing in my life and also because I need your help.  Day-to-day life in Sydney is very expensive, and on top of that, I have college fees to pay.  While I am blessed to take the occassional trip to the beach or experience the grandeur of dowtown Sydney, most of life here is spent in the Church learning, serving, and growing or at work as I do my best to finance the journey on which God has called me.....and I wouldn't trade this life for anything. The reality is, though, I know God wants me here, but I am in need of financial provision, and I believe He is telling me to invite you to give and thus be part of my incredible journey--one that I do not deserve to be a part of, but in God's infinite grace I am.   If you can't give, I ask you to join in prayer.  I am not any more special than any of you, and neither is the part I play, but I serve a God of wonder and majesty who beyond all comprehension yet chooses to use people like you and me.  It's not about me; it's about Him, and whatever part I can do to build His Kingdom and lead others to Him--to the knowledge of Jesus Christ--is ultimately my purpose in life.  

God is doing something incredible here in Sydney at Hillsong Church.  In my short time here, I have seen thousands give their lives to Christ because of the Spirit-led ministry of Hillsong Church.  In being a part of this ministry, God has taught me so much about what it is to love Him and love others.  My goal is to raise $5000 so that I can finance both this semester and next semester at Hillsong International Leadership College and continue to bless others and be blessed by the ministry of Hillsong as I continue on this radical adventure to which God has called me.  Thank you so much for reading this, and I promise to keep you updated!  God bless!
