The “MY SISTER’S KEEPER CHALLENGE 2017 WOMEN’S CONFERENCE” is part of a campaign that emphasizes next steps as involving the acknowledgement of women of color and their plight in “white” America, while also re-introducing the powerful role that intersectionality can offer in this movement.
The conference is a space created by women, for women, to heal, celebrate, and just be.
Combating racism is at the heart of the campaign in unity with our white sisters. The conference is one out of many initiatives established to forge understanding and movement, through education and strategic mobilization.
Cis and Transgender women of all facets are encouraged to attend with three goals in mind:
Listen
Learn
Mobilize
We hope that this conference will serve as the continuation of such historic events as the Women’s March for the betterment of all humankind.
Location : Stowe, Vermont
WE NEED YOUR SUPPORT TO REACH OUR GOALS.
Our expected expenses are about $13,000. With the fees associated with Go Fund Me, we have set our goal at $13,500.
