Emergency Fund To See Son

*** travel costs have been met! Thank you for the bottom of my heart! I did not expect such an outpouring of love and help. Truly, I am humbly grateful.

This fund is for airfare/travel costs and missed days at work.


This Easter Sunday my youngest brother, Michael, or Son to a good chunk of you, was seriously injured in an accident. He was helicoptered in to the Madison Children's Hospital and received emergency brain surgery. He is in the ICU until Monday, but everyday he is doing so much better! Moving more, figuring out his speech and talking more, and asking all about the pros and cons of rats versus guinea pigs and hamsters because he knows he can get whatever he wants! This is the hardest thing I have ever been a part of and there are no words to begin to describe what it feels like to walk into a room with a little boy you hold so dearly, battered and unconscious and was fighting for his life not hours beforehand. When I received the call of what was happening I was in Phoenix for work. There wasn't any choice in the matter and I felt, like many of you would or have, and had to buy a plane ticket for the next flight. I am looking for any help you can offer to offset this financial burden during such a traumatic time in my and my family's lives.
