Supporting Students in The Heart of Texas

This April, I will celebrate a milestone birthday, and I’d like to support students in my hometown of Waco, Texas, by fundraising for Communities In Schools The Heart of Texas. All funds will be directed to CIS programming in Waco ISD schools.
Because I understand the true value of CIS’ services as they work to ‘empower students to stay in school and achieve in life’, I encourage you to give any dollar amount you can to make an impact on the hundreds of K-12th grade students who receive academic case management services each year.
CIS is the largest, most recognized, and most reputable dropout prevention program in the country. CIS The Heart of Texas serves over 3,000 students annually through a number of programs and services aimed at increasing educational attainment for at-risk youth.
