Ms. Carolina Needs Our Help

Our beloved Ms. Carolina and her family were in a TERRIBLE car accident on their way to visit family in Mexico on June 25, 2018. Her mother in law was airlifted from the site and in intensive care for many weeks. Her son suffered SEVERE injuries. Carolina suffered SEVERE head trauma. Her husband was a little luckier but still battling major injuries. Luckily her infant daughter escaped major injuries. 

The family is now battling escalating bills and is in dire need of our help. They need a car, help paying continued medical bills (late fees are adding up) and money for basic needs such as rent and groceries.  Her husband has not been able to go back to work. Carolina is still suffering from major head trauma and unable to join us at Encino Charter Elementary so they are without any income. 

Carolina has been a ray of sunshine in our Elementary School's front office, always greeting us with a smile, kind words and warm heart. She's spent many hours tending to our kids who may have fallen and scraped their knee, had a belly ache or just plain scared and needed comfort. She is going to be missed and we hope she will be able to return some day.

She won't be able to get back to us unless we can help her and her family get out from under water with all their bills. And she will have on-going medical needs to help her recover. You can visit the school's front office for more info.  They are going to need additional assistance once they are able to get back into their own apartment.
